Sustainability at Blum Standards and certifications As part of our wide-ranging sustainability agenda, we invite external organisations to audit and certify the sustainability measures in place across our company. As a global company, we seek to comply with internationally recognised standards wherever possible. We have been certified to ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) since 1991, to ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) since 1997 and to ISO 50001 (Energy Management Systems) since 2012. To maintain compliance with these standards, we have introduced an integrated management system (IMS) with a modular set-up, which gives employees access to the specific management tools they need to ensure compliance with the relevant standards for their particular site and situation. We also partner with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) to promote environmentally and socially responsible practices within the forestry and timber industries. We have been purchasing FSC-certified chipboard (self-build sets) since 2013, and since 2019 we have been using packaging and printed materials made exclusively from FSCcertified raw materials. 33
