Environment Waste management and recycling As a company within the metalworking industry, we are conscious of the need to manage our waste responsibly and develop solutions to the challenges in this area. Basically, we try to keep the recyclable portion of our waste in the closed loop for as long as possible. This saves primary resources and shortens transport distances, which in turn reduces energy consumption. All our processes, from product design to production and disposal, are adapted accordingly. Our strategy is based on the waste management hierarchy set out in the EU Waste Framework Directive, which outlines the order in which different waste management options should be applied: Prevent – Reuse – Recycle – Recover – Dispose.
